PRP therapy for joints and tendons

PRP & PAP-MAX –
Natural regeneration with the body’s own active ingredients

In the musculoskeletal system, it is primarily joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles that can be damaged by acute injuries or chronic overuse. The body tries to repair such damage using its own regenerative mechanisms — but this natural healing process often reaches its limits.

In our practice, we offer both the classic PRP treatment (Platelet Rich Plasma) and the highly effective further development PRP-MAX.

Both methods rely on the regenerative power of your own blood to revitalize your tissue in a natural way — without any synthetic additives or surgical interventions.

PRP — Proven autologous blood therapy for regeneration & vitality

PRP therapy uses centrifugation to obtain the body’s own blood plasma, which is rich in platelets, growth factors and regenerating proteins. This plasma is introduced into the tissue in a targeted manner to promote cell regeneration, blood circulation and healing processes. The method is scientifically proven and has been used successfully for years in aesthetic medicine, orthopaedics and dermatology

PRP-MAX — the next generation of PRP therapy

With PRP-MAX, we offer an advanced form of autologous blood therapy based on an increased concentration of activated platelets — twice as concentrated as conventional PRP.

Thanks to state-of-the-art processing technology, PRP-MAX stimulates tissue regeneration, promotes blood circulation, activates stem cells and thus supports processes such as tissue healing much more effectively.

The treatment is minimally invasive, low-risk and relies exclusively on the body’s own active ingredients — for biological therapy at the highest level.

Areas of application

In addition to accident-related damage, it is mainly incorrect or excessive strain that leads to changes in the tissue. PRP therapy for tissue regeneration and inflammation inhibition has proven effective for the following problems:

How does the treatment work?

First, blood is taken from the patient via a vein (approx. 15 ml). After thorough centrifugation (approx. 10 minutes), it is then separated into its liquid and solid components. The activation of the platelets induces the release of a high number of mediators (messenger substances) from the platelet granules, which contain up to 800 protein components. Growth factors and anti-inflammatory components, which cannot be found in such high numbers in the region (joint, tendon insertion, muscle), are injected into the injured or inflamed region to promote rapid healing.

The treatment takes about 20 minutes. We recommend a series of 3 — 5 injections over a period of approx. 3 — 5 weeks (once a week).

“The injected plasma contains a large number of proteins such as growth factors and anti-inflammatory agents, which have a very positive effect on regeneration and the healing process.”

Which method is right for you?

Whether a classic PRP treatment or PRP-MAX is suitable for you depends on your individual goals and requirements. In a personal consultation, we will find out together which method offers the best benefits for you.
